You will see "eye separation", "distance to screen" and "screen width". These are used to determine the parallax between the left and right eye images. The default eye separation is 2 inches and default distance to screen is 24 inches, making the default rotation about 4.78 degrees (= 2*atan(1/24)). Chimera does not simply rotate the view -- that is a cheap trick for making a stereo pair. It actually uses a different camera view point projecting onto the same plane. (Rotation doesn't do the projection onto the same plane, instead using a rotated plane, which produces a slightly different appearance, usually perfectly acceptable.)</div><div><br></div><div><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span>Tom</div><div><br></div><div><br><div><div>On Feb 22, 2013, at 8:40 AM, Kristin Parent wrote:</div><br class="Apple-interchange-newline"><blockquote type="cite"><div style="word-wrap: break-word; -webkit-nbsp-mode: space; -webkit-line-break: after-white-space; "><div style=""><font face="Arial">To whom it may concern,</font></div><div style=""><font face="Arial"><br></font></div><div><font face="Arial">When creating a stereo image in chimera using the camera view options, what is the default degree of rotation between the left and right image?
