I want to thank Manidip Shasmal for using Chimera's Report a Bug
dialog to submit this as a bug. With the information in the bug
report, I was able to see that the NVIDIA graphics driver was not
installed. Installing that driver will fix his problem.

So a general comment, for interactive graphics, the graphics
drivers, that come with the Linux server editions, are too old and
buggy for Chimera. You would be much better off with a desktop
edition of Linux, like Ubuntu.
I have downloaded and installed <a moz-do-not-send="true"

release date April 05,2011. But after opening a volume data the
volume is appearing as random slices. I have checked all the
other necessary requirements. I am using RHEL 5.4 and NVIDIA
graphics. Please suggest.
