[Chimera-users] Keep path when opening chimera from command line

Hi Juan,
Regarding your last question:  yes, you can open an “MD metafile” at the command line.  It’s basically a text file with the information you would otherwise input into the MD Movie dialog.  You can indicate that file type with prefix md: or movie: , for details see:

That might partly avoid your other issues since you would just specify pathname to the metafile, and within the metafile, you would give pathnames of the actual input files relative to the metafile location.
