I understand/accept the odds... ;-)

I'm actually quite pleased that the Linux side of this has worked out of 
the box, same HW, etc.   Since I won't be playing games, and the 
programs which use sequential stereo work quite well in that system, I'm 
able to move forward well.  (The whole reason I have Windows in the 
first place is to accommodate one commercial program which at best uses 
red-cyan stereo.)

I will continue to play with it as time permits.  If something works, 
I'll certainly bring it back to the group.
