[Chimera-users] how to use the command of "savepos" and "scene"

Are you trying to save a map file after fitting? The savepos and scene commands do not save files.
To save a map you would use the "volume" command or the Volume Viewer tool, File menu.

Another important thing is that the rotations/translations are not part of the map file format, so to save map results after fitting, you first need to create a new resampled map, as explained here:
