[Chimera-users] graphics problems after update from UCSF-Chimera64-1.5.3 to UCSF-Chimera64-1.6.2

This is a graphics driver problem. If you are running Chimera on one
machine and displaying on another then the graphics driver (or Mesa) on
either machine could cause the problem, or they just aren't able to talk
to each other. First thing I would try is install 1.5.3 (if you removed
it) and see that it still works. You can have Chimera 1.6.2 and 1.5.3
installed at the same time. Just put them in different directories. I
don't know of any difference between Chimera 1.6.2 and 1.5.3 that would
explain why one would work and not the other. You could also try the
Chimera daily build.

Does Chimera crash when you load data or just when you start up? If it
starts you should use Help / Report a Bug so we know your graphic
driver and other system info.
