[Chimera-users] clipping: solids or interior surfaces

Hi Ian,

   The surface capping option Elaine mentioned is probably what you 
need.  There is "two-sided surface lighting" option in the volume dialog 
surface and mesh options panel.  Turning that off will make the surface 
interior dark.  As Elaine said there is not ability to make the two 
sides of a surface have a different color.  The OpenGL 3d graphics 
library we use supports that in a rather easy way and the main 
difficulty for us to add that to Chimera is to make a user interface.  I 
think we should add that and will put it on our requested features list.
