Hi Navya,
At least a few years ago, we heard of problems with button 2 in
certain Windows/Logitech MouseWare setups; a workaround is given here:
http://www.cgl.ucsf.edu/chimera/docs/UsersGuide/ntmouse.html
I don't know if it applies to your situation or not, or even to newer
Windows/Logitech setups.
