[Chimera-users] changing the rendering of distanced dotted lines

Hi Boaz,
yes, you can change the dash length, or even show the distance
monitors as solid lines or sticks. The distance monitors are
"pseudobonds," and what you want to do is edit their attributes.

This will change all the distance monitors (if you had more than one):

  - Tools... General Controls... Pseudobond Panel  (version 1.2154;
maybe in a different section of Tools in older versions)
  - then in the Pseudobond Panel, make sure the "distance monitor"
entry in the left side is highlighted, then click the "attributes"
button on the right
  - in that attributes panel, you can mess with dash/space ratios or
change to a solid line (set "dashed lines enabled" to false) or
sticks (open the Component PseudoBond Attributes section, change
"bond style" to stick)

Hope this helps,
Elaine
