[Chimera-users] New 64-bit Linux version of Chimera

Hi Geoff,

  Apple's Mac OS 10.4 (Tiger) only has limited 64-bit support.  They
do not provide 64-bit graphics libraries.  So you can only have 64-bit
"background" applications having no graphical user interface.  Until
they provide 64-bit graphics libraries Chimera cannot use a 64-bit
address space on the Mac.

  I learned this from the ArsTechnica review of Mac OS 10.4.
